Jan. 11 and continuing - Adult Sunday School Class - We are studying "More Jesus, Less Religion: Moving from Rules to Relationship" by Stephen Arterburn and Jack Felton. We will be following through the study each week with a chapter at a time. The class is open to everyone. (You don't have to start with us at week one, since new topics come up each week.) 9 a.m. Sundays in the Sunroom. Feb. 23 - PPR Committee Meeting- 7:30 PM in Burton Hall. Council of Churches Wednesday Night Lenten Services for 2004* April 11 - Easter. Easter service at 10 AM, Hopewell United Methodist Church, 20 Blackwell Ave., Hopewell. Sunrise service at 6 AM, at Highland Cemetery. Rev. Pruitt. (In case of rain it will be at the Presbyterian Church) April 24 - Spring Roast Beef & Ham Dinner - Saturday, April 24. 3 PM to 7 PM. Fundraising Dinner that benefits the missions and ministries of the church. Dinner includes roast beef, ham, mashed potatoes, hot vegetables, salad, rolls, beverage and homemade desert. Craft
Time - Norma Aarons is hosting (at her home) fellowship and craft times through
the winter and spring months. There are a variety of crafts for a variety of skill
levels. The crafts will be sold at fund-raisers the church will have during the
year. All sessions are on Tuesdays, and there's two times to choose from either
afternoon (1-3 PM) or evening (7-9 PM). The dates are: Feb.17 (this one at the
church), March 2, March 16, March 30, April 13. See Norma or look in the bulletin
for further info & directions. United Methodist Women's Events UMW Meetings are held after worship. Join us for lunch, followed by a business meeting and an introduction ot the United Methodist Women's Reading Program. United Methodist Women's meetings are open to all women (teenagers to great grandmothers.) 2004
